But also excited about latest teaser for Nayanthara’s most-awaited movie Rakkayie has finally been revealed. On Monday, the actress posted the teaser on Instagram, leaving fans to become excited. The teaser offers a look into the film’s plot, showing that Nayanthara is a mother who will go to any amount to protect her kid from “monsters.”
In the teaser, Nayanthara appears in a fierce and intense avatar never seen before. She is seen fighting off goons with a sword, her expression reflecting determination and strength.

This teaser release coincides with Nayanthara making headlines for her ongoing legal battle with actor Dhanush. The controversy stems from her Netflix documentary, for which she sought permission to use visuals from their 2015 film, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Dhanush, however, denied the request and sent her a legal notice demanding ₹10 crore in damages.
Nayanthara Slams Dhanush in Open Letter Over NOC Refusal
In an open letter addressed to Dhanush, She criticized him for refusing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and called his actions disappointing. “This is an all-time low from you and speaks so much about your character. I wish you were half the person you portray to be on stage in audio launches in front of your innocent fans, but clearly, you do not practice what you preach, at least not for me and my partner,” she wrote.
