Marcus Jordan, 34, the son of NBA star Michael Jordan, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Maitland, Florida, on charges of DUI, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest.
Incident Details
Marcus Jordan was arrested in Orange County, Florida, around 1:14 a.m. On February 4th, 2025. Officials discovered his Lamborghini SUV abandoned on railroad lines in Maitland, Florida. The officers noticed that the person had obvious signs of intoxication: eyes were blurred and bloodshot, speech was slurred, and there was a strong odor of alcohol. Although his blood alcohol level was below the legal limit, Jordan flunked three field sobriety tests, and he did have a strong odor of alcohol on him. When searching him, authorities found a cocaine-like substance inside his trousers. Jordan, who became combative during his arrest and refused to provide breath samples, was booked on multiple charges.
Arrest and Charges
During the encounter, officers discovered a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance in Marcus Jordan’s backside pants pocket. Field tests revealed it was cocaine. Jordan was arrested and booked into the Orange County Jail. A bond of $4,000 was given.
