Currently, many organizations task training and development departments with creating and deploying training solutions. Today, 77% of US companies offer eLearning in their professional development programs.
Throughout the short history of online learning, the tools used to create training assets have advanced. All the while, the methodology for developing training content continues to remains unchanged, falling somewhere along these lines: collect content through subject matter experts, create learning assets, deliver/assign training, measure test results and completion rates, and consider the training event complete.
